In 1995, all 800 habitants of the isolated Kamikakushi Island vanished in one night, all but a single girl who has no memory of what happened. The causes of the disappearances were never identified. Four years later the girl named Mari Wakatake who is the only survivor of the events transfers to a girl’s dormitory school, which is where she first encounters Hagino.

The Character designs are very appealing as with all of SHAFT’s work and from the preview there is definitely an interesting and atmospheric story line to go with the beautiful animation. The opening song is “euphoric field” by Tenmon feat. ELISA.
