
HOT NEWS just in! The anime distributors Kaze and Anime Visual based in Europe are set to merge with the Paris based VIZ Media Europe! Their parent company Shogakukan and Shueisha had earlier acquired both companies as VIZ set to consolidate their European presence.
Kaze and its president Cedric Littardi mainly distributes in French speaking territories while Anime Virtual (headed by Nicolas Weber-Krebs) caters for the German market respectively. With both operations combined it would cover TV sales, DVD, film and music distribution as well as the latest digital distribution platforms such as online. The head office itself will still remain in Paris, France while both directors Cedric and Nicolas will become managing directors.
