This is the latest figure by Alter from the hugely popular The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series. It is a 1/8 scale of Yuki and should be out next March in Japan for 6,090 Yen (around £39.90). It features Yuki in her school uniform in a contemplating pose looking up at you, holding her glasses away from her face. It features the typical Alter attention to detail and great craftsmanship in the modelling process with fair shading throughout on the body, clothes and hair. It is this amount of detail that makes Alter one of the more trusted brands to buy from.
The resemblance to the original character design is extremely lifelike which makes it great to photograph at various angles and to have on display. No word as of yet when it will be released over here in the UK however. Click below for more images of the Yuki figure!
