Afraid it isn’t the fabled Final Fantasy 7 remake everyone wanted, but instead a different announcement that has caused quite a bit of confusion. Instead it was announced that with the new Blu-Ray version of Final Fantasy Advent Children, not only will you get 30mins of extra footage but a playable demo of FFXIII for the PS3.
Yep that’s it. It is great news at least and a very nice bonus addition to the package but its not the announcement people were hoping for. With many remakes coming to the DS, it would be nice to see it on Nintendo’s dual screen platform too, however I’m sure Sony would like to court it for their PSP or even PlayStation 3.
