A decade after the seminal Mario 64 comes the spiritual sequel on the Nintendo Wii - Mario Galaxy. In the running for videogame of the year, Nintendo’s mascot has done it again bringing something fresh to the table and showing that there is still life in the platforming genre.

Sadly for me though I can’t play on it just yet to review but I hope I can very soon! A decade is a very long time to wait… Once I get my mitts on it though I shall give a run-down on what looks to be the best Mario game yet and for some time to come. For those lucky people who have played it, what are your thoughts?

This game is simply awesome. Gorgeous visuals and imaginative level designs make this the best Mario game in the long-standing series. Two-player mode is a work of genius. ^_^

I’m amazed that my sister (who works for Nintendo of Europe) was playing the BETA code version of this game back in August! And her game playing skills are used as part of a television campaign for the UK.

She knows this game inside-out. Which is a good thing as she can point out the best stuff when I’m playing it for myself! Definitely a must-buy for Wii fans.
