Another new show this fall season for those missing a good fantasy/crime solving title is Rental Magica, from ZEXCS based on the light novel by Makoto Sanda. The animation from what I’ve seen from the preview looks great, Lots of very cute character designs and light hearted fun to keep viewers entertained. The opening song is “Sora ni Saku” by Lisa Komine. There are witches, demons and from the looks of episode one monster dogs so what’s not to like, lets just hope they have some good assignments and this show could be pretty good.
Due to his father’s disappearance, Itsuki Iba has to take over the family business, but there are two problems with that, one the business is a magician dispatch service dealing with sending out supernatural beings and magicians to help those who need assistance, and two Itsuki is a complete coward. Due to this flaw in his personality he struggles to cope with being the commanding and tough leader needed, but running the business isn’t the only thing he has to deal with, also there are those who threaten the very business itself.
Fast Paced and action packed this series could be a winner this season but of course only time will tell, episode 1 review on its way.
