Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima revealed four new bosses in the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 title that is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
As you can see in the new trailer shown below (click here for High Definition), the video clip showcase the four ‘beauty’ monsters that strikes terror in Solid Snake’s battlefield.
A tentacle-wielding creature with a cruel laugh (Laughing Octopus); a giant silver wolf with an echoing howl (Howling Wolf); a creature with wings and a jetpack, constantly screaming “RAGE!” (Raging Raven) and a floating puppeteer, complete with attached marionettes (Screaming Mantis).
Apparently, the four bosses are based on the form of beautiful women transformed into brutal, destructive and metallic beasts.
Hideo modelled these characters off “real world beauties” such as Japanese superstar Yumi Kikuchi, who attended the Konami presentation in person at this week’s Leipzig Game Convention.
In addition to the Tokyo-based DJ, actress, and Hidechan Radio host Kikuchi, models Scarlett Chorvat, Mieko Rye and Lyndall Jarvis will all appear, in some form, in Metal Gear Solid 4.
But the best news of all is that the PlayStation 3-exclusive title will be launched simultaneous in all regions in early 2008. No more delays between releasing the game in America, Europe and Japan. Great news for Solid Snake fans!

Everytime I see a new trailer on MGS4, I get become more excited than ever to play this PS3 game. The graphics do look incredible and despite the constant rumours concerning the Xbox 360 version (it won’t happen in my opinion), it does really showcase the Sony console.
As for the simultaneous release, that’s fantastic. No more delays, unlike Gran Turismo…
