Halo-themed Xbox 360 and Zune

Halo 3 items

Jumping on the bandwagon on the highly anticipated first person shooter from Bungie, Microsoft has coveted a special edition 20-gigabtye version of the Xbox 360 – first seen during this year’s E3 press conference. The new console will be available on sale in the States in September for around $399.99 (interestingly a further $50 more than the Premium model). It will feature a HDMI port, headset and a Spartan ‘green and gold’ finish.

In addition Microsoft has come out with a Halo 3 military edition Zune for members of the US armed forces. The portable music player will be available exclusively at military retail outlets in August and comes with pre-loaded stuff that is probably similar to the civilian Halo 3 Zune.
