The hugely popular animé NANA and the more cult hit Honey & Clover have now been licensed by VIZ Media. Not much else was announced in terms of how many episodes per DVD will be or any bonus extras but both series come highly recommended by me. In fact only recently the TV series NANA has finished airing in Japan, concluding on episode 47, however I suspect another animated season could be produced in the future.
It will be interesting to see how well Honey & Clover will sell as it has never really been a blockbuster name in the animé world, however if sufficient units gets shifted, we could see another highly rated series by the fans get licensed - Nodame Cantabile. We will have to wait and see!
