EA and Harmonix’s new Rock Band game will feature two important elements that will make it even more special to wannabe rock stars. First, the rhythm-based title will have entire albums available to download such as The Who’s Who Next. And secondly - and the most exciting - Metallica will fully backed the game with Enter Sandman to ship on the game’s pack-in disc.
This means you can rock out with one of the most famous heavy-metal band in the world! Not only that, when Rock Band goes on sale sometime this year, new downloadable content will be available every single week after its initial release.
Forgot about Guitar Hero III, the stage is set for Rock Band!

Mountain, Sabbath and Rush are all covers, but the rest are originals. I’m loving everything to do with Rock Band. Fantastic track list, that amazing drum kit and online play!

I may be a bit lame at GH2, but this game is soooo going to be in my collection. The songs in this game are so much better than GH3. OK so a few top draw songs do appear, but if the rest of the songs are as good as these, then it’s going to be so good. AND original songs too. Oh my god. Lets jam with Metallica!!! Woot Woot!!

My only concern is the downloadable content. The price for GH3’s stuff on the 360 is a complete rip-off.
