Apple iPhone available on June 29

Apple iPhone June 29th

Mark this date in your diary – June 29th – as this is the day that the highly desirable Apple iPhone goes on sale in the United States.

Sample the three new adverts promoting the new handheld multimedia device on the official Apple website and count down the remaining days in which you can own this impressive gadget!

The iPhone will cost between $499 (£251) or $599, depending on configuration. This includes the two-year service agreement with communication giant AT&T. No details regarding a release date for Europe or for the rest of the world, but I can take a guess that it will be around the end of the year.

My heart skipped a beat reading the title, until I realised it was only for the US >_<

    I deffo want one.

I’ve read some interesting stuff about the iPhone… No removable SIM, no removable battery and no iChat. The whole unit is enclosed and cannot be opened without voiding your warranty. iChat might be available after launch but it won’t make it before then. Also since the OS is propriety and locked, Apple are unsure about opening it up to 3rd Party developers… Creating somewhat of a software monopoly, especially if the phone is quite powerful.

Still a shame about no 3G/HSDPA support (only EDGE in the USA) for faster download/data speeds and no built in GPS for the cost of the phone.

Yeh but it looks the shiznic and you can use it as a music player and to view photo’s in an ub3r unique way.

Put simply its the hottest looking phone out there.
