Here are the latest batch of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for the ever popular Nintendo DS. With Final Fantasy XIII: Reverent Wings already out in Japan on the same platform it seems Ds fans will be getting their RPG fix in good quantity and quality.
Looks like Square-Enix has developed a very good engine for the DS, pushing it further than most other titles so far. Hopefully this game will have online WiFi play with up to four players but details have yet to be confirmed. The original on the GameCube was based on great ideas but was so expensive to play - Each player would require a GBA and the required cables all hooked up to a Gamecube. Great if all your mates have a GBA and the right equipment but less so if you just want a quick multiplayer game. Let’s hope Square-Enix manages to solve some of the issues with this game and does the franchise some justice.
