Mac owners no longer have to feel left in the dark when it comes to Skype. For quite some time now Skype for the Mac was rather behind in terms of the latest features and goodies offered, but they have finally updated their client version to 2.6! Sorry but there’s no further news for Linux users just yet.
As a nice bonus for the patient Mac crowd, Skype has offered an exclusive bonus extra only found in this version so far - Call Transfer. When in a Skype Call this new feature allows you to transfer it to another contact on your list at any time. However both clients will require the Mac version of Skype 2.6 for it to work.
Also new is Skype 3.2 BETA for Window’s users with features like PayPal management allowing you to send money to family and friends directly via Skype, inviting users from Hotmail, GMail or Yahoo! for a chat, updating your profile picture of yourself via webcam and much more.
