Initial D fans will be happy with this one! It seems that Toyota are thinking about resurrecting the iconic AE86 of the mid eighties. Known under the various names such as Corolla Levin, Corolla GT, Corolla Sport and of course the Sprinter Trueno, it has become a drifters favourite due to its rear wheel drive and chassis.
While we would all love a fast supercar, having a fun little drifter which is highly modifiable and cheap would be just as fun. Would you buy one?

Yeah these cars a few years ago were so darn popular and pricey cos all the kids wanted one. They were cheap compared to their performance and also they were pretty darn good with fuel consumption.
With a face lift I’m sure they would be as popular as before. Although with the new greener car laws I wonder if it won’t deter some.

the main cheap, fun car in the UK at the moment is the Civic
Other popular cars are Corsa’s, Saxo’s and 206′es
They’re all FF(FWD), we need a cheap FR(RWD), something which
is more than a bit of plastic and takes more skill to drive
