Amongst heavy rumours for the past week about Sega ressurecting a highly popular franchise to the Nintendo Wii, it has finally been confirmed that a new itteration of this classic will make its way to Nintendo’s latest console. There were rumours that the original would appear on the Virtual Console, however it would have been a difficult task to emulate the Saturn’s architecture and indeed make it a decent filesize to download. Instead Sega and Nintendo fans can rejoice to look forward to a brand spanking new NiGHTs videogame.
Little else is known about the game like control mechanics, storyline and indeed the team that wil lbe working behind this title. I hope though that with the latest resurgance by Sega and the popularity of the Nintendo Wii at this moment will help bring this title to the fans and the masses. Here’s hoping!
