Satoshi Kon’s “Paprika” Trailer

29 year old Dr. Atsuko Chiba is an attractive but modest Japanese research psychotherapist whose work is on the cutting edge of her field. Her alter-ego is a stunning and fearless 18 year old “dream detective,” code named PAPRIKA, who can enter into people’s dreams and synchronize with their unconscious to help uncover the source of their anxiety or neurosis.

Directed by Satoshi Kon (Pefect Blue, Paranoia Agent) and animated by Madhouse Studios, this sci-fi brain twister called Paprika continues to gain popularity and praise the world over. It will be released on UK DVD by Columbia Tristar on 28th May.

    This looks *amazing* and I’m sure it’ll be a big hit. It’s just a shame that Animé films are rarely ever shown on the big screens here. Such a waste…Nonetheless, I can’t wait for it to be released.
