In a town in Joseon-era Korea, a female undercover detective is investigating a counterfeiting plot and doesn’t realise that the lone swordsman she is repeatedly duelling is defending a conspiracy that leads right to the top. Complicating things further, the detective Namsoon (Ha Ji-won) and Sad Eyes (Kang Dong-won) begin to fall in love.
This South Korea movie features extensive use of slow motion, freeze frames, multiple images, and varying perspectives. It is shot in a similar way to Hero with strong uses of colours and beautifully choreographed sword fights.
Duelist will be heading to your local screen this coming March.

This looks amazing! The Koreans have thrown out some great films… but this fantastic! But you cant judge a film by its trailer. Will be looking out for this!
