The popular guitar-based rhythm video game, Guitar Hero, will be changing its development team.
Originally designed and developed by Harmonix, it would appear that Tony Hawk developer Neversoft will take over the honour of creating future sequels.
With the recent rumour of a possible 1980s edition of Guitar Hero, the news of the switch could mean a new game play experience might be added by the team at Neversoft - new themes, songs and artwork perhaps?
It is quite strange why Harmonix, the creators of Karaoke Revolution, Amplitude and EyeToy: Antigrav, have decided not to develop the new Guitar Hero. The overwhelming success of the Guitar Hero II was the fifth best-selling game for all of 2006 with 1.3 million units sold in America.

Ah its about the money. And then I bet the GF got involved and it ended up in a big mess. So in the end they just switched company. Or the current dev team were too high on coke thinking they were real rockstars.
