The new Xbox 360 version of RedOctane’s Guitar Hero II might possibly feature an additional controller that connects to the X-plorer guitar.
Video game website Game Informer has provided a comprehensive preview to the new rhythm game and has listed then the ten exclusive tracks and some of the achievements waiting to be unlocked.
As for the mysterious port situated on the controller, RedOctane won’t elaborate. It looks like the same port that is used to connect the pedals to the base station on Microsoft’s steering wheel.
It maybe a coincidence and the idea of distortion pedals for Guitar Hero could enhance the playing experience even further.
As for the exclusive Xbox 360 tracks, here is the complete list:
Possum Kingdom – Toadies (original recording)
Salvatio – Rancid
Life Wasted – Pearl Jam
Billion Dollar Babie – Alice Cooper
Hush – Deep Purple
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo – Rick Derringer
Dead! – My Chemical Romance (original recording)
The Trooper – Iron Maiden
Drink Up – Ounce of Self (unlockable bonus track)
Kicked to the Curb – Noble Rot (unlockable bonus track)
More items can be unlocked after completing a set achievement in the game. These are:
