Since users have found out a way to make the Wiimote to communicate with their Apple Macs and PCs, there have been a whole host of neat features like turning the Wiimote into a lightsaber (so every time you move it, lightsaber sounds are produced), using the Wiimote like a cursor and most recently to control Google Earth.
Looks pretty neat I’m sure you’ll agree. How can you use your Wiimote like this? Well you need some applications called GlovePIE and the script, WiiGoogleEarth. I haven’t tried this out myself but clearly it works.
Other modifications include having the ability to save Mii’s to the Wiimote, send them over to the PC and over the internet for other users to have identical Mii’s to download on demand. Has anyone else seen any other cool uses for the Wiimote so far?
