A user tried to update her Wii24Connect software and it bricked her brand new Nintendo Wii! She also lost her Zelda save game since its not functional anymore however after phoning Nintendo she will get a replacement within 3-4 business days. When she tried to update it she got this message..
“Error Code: 110213 There is a problem with the WiiConnect24 service. Please try again later.”
That to me just seems that the network was down at the time and maybe an incomplete update was downloaded and bricked the Wii. After reading on a bit more it seems that if you try again with either a stronger wireless connection (or even better, wired) it will solve the issue.
I will test it out once I get my Nintendo WiFi USB dongle and my USB to Network (RJ45) adapter which should arrive in a few days time…
