Wii Channels

Here’s your opportunity to sample the cute interface of the upcoming Wii Channels on the Nintendo Wii.

Unfortunately parts of the Wii Channels won’t make if for Sunday’s (November 19th) American launch. The Forecast Channel and Wii News won’t be available until December and January respectively.

On December 20th, Nintendo will roll out the Forecast Channel. Users will be able to access free local weather information, which is continually updated and presented with a recreation of the globe in three dimensions. Weathernews will supply the data.

Then on January 27th 2007, the Wii Menu News Channel will provide the latest news stories from around the world. Associated Press will be the news source.
