According to the rumour section of gaming magazine EGM, Konami may be forcing series creator and director Hideo Kojima to port the next Metal Gear Solid game to the Xbox 360.
Fanboys always have their favourites, and most Sony lovers are proud to brag about the PS3 snagging the exclusive rights to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Unless it comes out on the 360, that is. Yes, as crazy as it may sound, [b]I hear Konami is forcing the game’s head honcho, Hideo Kojima, to port Metal Gear Solid 4 over to the 360
While it would be nice, I wouldn’t bet on it. Like I said before, this was in the rumour section, and while this move would probably increase profits for Konami, MGS2’s Xbox port was a flop. Still, we can dream….

I really doubt this to be honest. I remember reading this article on Joystiq regarding Metal Gear Solid 4 ‘appearing’ on the Xbox 360. It turns out that the cover line on EGM magazine - MGS4 on Xbox 360? - was just a way of tempting readers to buy their poor publication to boost sales/readership…
In addition, like Fried Gold mentioned, it turns out to be NOT TRUE, as Konami will have to REWRITE the whole game engine to work on the Xbox 360. Solid Snake went flaccid on the original Xbox with MGS2, and I don’t think Konami will make the same mistake again.
