After releasing updates to the premium laptops with Core 2 Duo in the MacBook Pro not so long ago, Apple has now decided to improve the performance with the MacBook.
The 13.3-inch MacBook is now boosted with a 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor. Prices start around US $1099 or £749 (UK) / €1119 (Europe).
Three models are available, with an option to spec up the RAM (memory) to 2GB and a Hard Drive capacity of 200 gigabytes.
In addition a new graphics card powered by Intel’s Media Accelerator 950 is installed, but unfortunately the memory on this is around 64MB. Not great for playing games…
Size and weight remains the same, as does the battery life, which according to the Apple site, provides up to six hours of energy.
