Kariya finally breeches Seireitei’s barrier thanks to the help of his minions and disposes of them soon after. With Ichigo’s party not far behind Orihime decides to stay back and treat Jindanbou (the gatekeeper) who was wounded from Kariya’s attack. However as soon as Ichigo returns back into Seireitei they cannot sense the presence of Kariya and his group… Being able to hide their reiatsu (Spirit Energy) makes them difficult to trace and the race is on to find them in time.
The Captains hold an emergancy meeting and are given the right to act individually to the Ryoka’s advances - To anniahlate them at all costs. Details such as Kariya’s ability to control the wind and to absorb Spirit Particles at will to heal any wounds are discussed to the Captains. However Captain Soi Fong is attacked by one of the ryoka’s named Mabashi that attacks with a Doll called “Rizu” - An earth like seed entity that can morph into flowers, plants, vines and other forms to attack their enemies. However Rizu has a special ability to absorb the medium’s soul and to control their body at the master’s will. Having been infected by Rizu, what will Soi Fong do?
Not a massively fullfilling episode it must be said. I’m beginning to enjoy the new opening and ending theme music and animation more which kind of tells you what I think of this episode. Sure enough now that Soi Fong, a Captain, has probably been controlled now by Mabashi we should see some Captain Vs Captain duels… Unless Soi Fong has enough reiatsu to break free from such a spell.

Also while Captain Hitsugaya has been relieved of his controlling post which was decided upon during the meeting with the Captains and the Elder I’m sure he has a different role now in combating the Ryoka… Not a great episode but hopefully things will spice up now that Kariya and Ichigo are within Seireitei.
