The news that everyone in Europe have been waiting for. The Nintendo Wii will be available on December 8th. Six days after the official Japanese launch and will cost £179.99 or €249.99.
Not quite £150 that many have expected from Nintendo but it's fantastic to hear that there is no European delay unlike Sony…
So what do you get with your Wii? A white Wii console (of course), one Wii remote, one Nunchuck and a copy of Wii Sports.
As for the games, these will be priced between €49 and €59 or between £34 and £39 in the UK - which works out at around $62 to $73.
I reckon this will be the top Christmas gift in 2006!
