Yes you have read correctly, there will be four new Evangelion movies that co-exist within the seminal TV Series' time line. It includes a Prequel, Mid-series, Sequel and an End movie all overseen by Hidaeki Anno. The prequel is apparently coming out in Summer of 2007 which should be interesting… Evangelion fans have been waiting over a decade for anything new to sink their teeth into and it seems it won't be long until they get something substantial.
