How cool war seems,
When we’re foolish and young,
Big shiny things,
The tanks and the guns.

If only we knew,
Of the blood that is lost,
Of the families subdued,
Of the souls turned to frost.

So show them my friend,
No matter how young,
Do it to help them,
Show them it’s wrong.
