It seems that this rumour won’t die just yet. There has been much speculation that a new redesigned PSP will be released in Japan at the end of 2007 with 8gig of Flash Memory. This memory space would then be used to download PS1 games and various demos from Sony directly to your PSP. The new redesigned unit will also be a lot smaller, have a redesigned slot for UMD and maybe more. Since this is speculation we can’t really say much about this however there is a strong possibility that this would happen. The PSP is being outsold by the NintendoDS Lite so they need something to boost sales. If anything happens though we’ll be sure to post it here.
