Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of the most praised comedy films ever made, on one of Britain’s better exports. The first film from those crazy ‘Python lot (Flying Circus, Life of Brian, Meaning of Life…) follows King Arthur and his Knights of the Round table’s quest to find the Holy Grail.
The film is basically 90 minutes of hilarious, nonsensical mayhem, featuring such comedy gems as Tim the Enchanter, The Knights who say Ni, Sir Lancelot’s killing spree (one of the highlights of the film in my opinion) and an animated God.
Not for the heavily Christian, the dead serious or those who require a gripping plotline to get anything out of a film, but for those who like a laugh this is one of the greats.

This movie is fantastic. The scene featuring the Knights of Ni is damn funny.
I have the complete Monty Python Movies on a DVD box set. My favourite is Life Of Brian and The Meaning Of Life.
