There has been a lot of talk about the next gen console wars… Especially about pricing. It has been announced that the official PS3 price point will be £425 (60gig version) but many places will sell it for £525 or beyond… Especially on eBay.
With the Xbox360 already out and selling well in the USA and Europe, Sony has a lot of work to do, to capture the market. However, what about Nintendo? They have taken a risk by departing with conventional control schemes for a more motion based one. That along with a technically inferior console could lead them into trouble however it has always been Nintendo’s philosophy to focus on quality gameplay than graphics and audio.
We know the Nintendo Wii will be the cheapest console once release with a rumoured $250-$299 price point which makes it affordable to many people. Also with that price point it is cheaper to buy an XBOX360 and a Nintendo Wii than it is a single PS3.
Question is, which combination would you get?
