The original karting game that sparked a whole genre soon after. It mixed karting with powerups to devise a brilliant mix of racing, action and strategy. Stupidly addictive with a near perfect blend of 70% racing and 30% action, it ensures close and dramatic battles.
Battle mode where players go head to head is an all time classic amongst gamers and it still played to this date. Grand Prix made the main mode fun and the amount of innovative shortcuts ensured that the skilled can win. The word “Classic” is often overused but in this case, it defines it.
